Unbroken Movement Foundation 5k

It’s rare that I find people motivating for an extended period of time. Like a few weeks, fine. But years. That’s almost unheard of for me. I lose interest or move on. It happens to me all of the time. That’s not the case with Ashley Horner. She’s a massive inspiration for me. I admire her. Her drive, motivation, hard work, and the fact that she’s unbelievably nice.

Her accomplishments are insane! The two that come to mind are the 280 mile run she did for a roof that went towards a Women’s shelter in North Carolina. To a 300 mile row, which she set her sights on helping K9’s get bullet proof vests. Like I said, she’s pretty badass.

I’d like to think her biggest accomplishment is the Unbroken Movement Foundation. A foundation dedicated to Women and Children that suffer from domestic violence and escape to a women’s shelter for safety or to start fresh.

Not that long ago, a new friend from Ashley’s group decided she wanted to help. And the one way she thought would be pretty awesome, was a 5k Glow Run. Me being organized and wanting to help, reached out. As a result, we became great friends. We’ve also been working hard on this event.

The race is in July. However, since people from all over the world really wanted to help. We created a GoFundMe page just for this race. All money received from the fund will help pay for race expenses, then money earned from the race will go straight to the Unbroken Movement Foundation.

So please. Share, donate, participate, anything. We need help with this. Registration will be posted soon. But we will also need volunteers.
